What Is Taylor Reading?

Hello! I’m currently, as of writing this at 10pm on Sunday night, I am in the process of working my way through an audiobook and planning to finish a couple physical reads. Following are the books I want to get through during the next week.

Audiobook:

Sorcery of Thorns by Magaret Rogerson

Siren’s Fury (Storm Siren #2) by Mary Weber

Physical Reads

Red, White, and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston

The Lantern’s Ember by Colleen Houck

My goal is to at least finish Sorcery of Thorns and Siren’s Fury because those are the two books I have already started in previous months. I also aim to make progress with Red, White, and Royal Blue but this is my the book I chose for the Good Evening challenge to the RDP. I also want to get a good chunk of the way through The Lantern’s Ember before the end of the week.

What reading plans do you have for the week?

Taylor’s July Book Haul

So, I ended up going a little crazy and buying more books than I should have. I made two orders with BookOutlet, three books from BookOfTheMonth.com an order with Amazon, bought a book off of FaceBook B/S/T page, and an order with BookDepository. I did receive some free books from a friend that is always exciting! In total I think I pulled in 40 books! Maybe in the future I will think of a more organized way of sharing the books I pull in but with this being my largest haul this year, it was a little chaotic!

The books I got from a friend:

Books I got from BookOutlet:

Books I got from Amazon:

Books I got from BookDepository and from Book of the Month

Book I bought from someone on Facebook

Are any of these books one you got during July? If you have any of these and want to buddy-read, just let me know! I always love to buddy-read and feel like I never get to do it anymore.

Stuck on Repeat

Another week has passed and that means it is time to discuss another group of songs that I have had on repeat all week! I have a couple of new songs, a couple of old songs, and just a bunch of songs that I love a whole bunch.

“Wave” is the latest comeback from Ateez, the very group that got me into Kpop in the first place. This is my second comeback with the group and they never fail to disappoint.

Got7 is a group that I told Chelsea I was having trouble getting into. While I knew and was in love with Jackson, I was having trouble getting into the group. We met up early May and her job that weekend was to get me into Got7. She accomplished her task!

When I first got into Kpop, Winner is a group that Chelsea was like “listen to them”. I gave them a listen but was not feeling it. Then this comeback happened and I was sold. There is something about Winner that confuses me but makes me so happy so I just decided to go with it and stop questioning them. All I know Mino makes me very happy.

VAV is one of the most underrated groups I think in the entire industry. I love them and they are so incredibly talented. They need more recognition, for sure. Now is a wonderful time to join the VAMPZ fandom because there is comeback happening in the the next couple of days. So, join us and love these boys!

Just the other day, I asked Chelsea what group I should get into next and she said, JBJ. So, I started getting into JBJ. Only to find out, that the member I would have chosen as a bias all but disappeared from the face of the planet. So, that being said, I am yet to make it any futher into the group but, I do plan to fall deeper in to the JBJ/JBJ95 hole.
